This was painted as a Diptych which is simply about loving the color yellow. They are meant to be placed above each other rather than side by side.

This work was commissioned by a client and is an example of my recent foray into oil painting. It is a mixed media landscape with oil and rice paper printed with antique Korean lettering. The landscape forms are identical to a photograph that I took when in Umbria, Italy in 2006 but remained in my mind as shapes for this abstract painting.
