Oil, Mixed Media, 6'x4'

This work was commissioned by a client and is an example of my recent foray into oil painting. It is a mixed media landscape with oil and rice paper printed with antique Korean lettering. The landscape forms are identical to a photograph that I took when in Umbria, Italy in 2006 but remained in my mind as shapes for this abstract painting.
